anyway, Kali wins this pretty handily for me but this is definitely one of the better FJM songs I've heard, seems to eschew some of his more annoying traits that turn me off from a lot of his work. Nonetheless, Kali

But as KitchenSink said, this is one of FJM's better tunes, and I do tend to like his not-as-good stuff.

Tillman's last album (Chloe) was pretty mid and I kinda stopped following him. Mahashmashana is pretty great, though. Might have to check the new album as well. I'm still voting for my pick, reminds me of long walks in Hamburg and Caspar David Friedrich's paintings. A somewhat personal pick, but honestly anyone can enjoy Kali Malone's mostly accessible, yet highly experimental and cool minimalist drones.

Misty seemed to return from the dead this year, the song is certaintly crafted to be epic but I kind of just go "oh, that's nice". I've really enjoyed the last couple Malone records, but this is an odd choice for a singles/ind. track tournament. Still will probably go for it in the end.
