I have never connected with this album despite giving it sooo many chances I still find it overblown, chaotic and very patchy in terms of of the quality of the music.
Maybe it’s just that it doesn’t resonate with me. Can’t deny that it was, in parts, groundbreaking in its day. Just not a favourite of mine

The White Album simply only grows and grows on me. While I’ve always liked it, the past couple years have provided me a connection with this record akin to that of my very favorite works. This record is so unique with such a vaguely sinister chaos bubbling just under the surface. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.

An album greater than the sum of its parts. Used to hate how messy this is, but the madness is the method. There's some real junk on this thing, but the highs are euphoric.
