I tend to find Buddy Holly a difficult artist to engage with and not sure why. I understand his significance in terms of the history of rock n roll, i just can't get into his music (when he plays it).
There are a number of his songs that I really like but prefer others performing them, Words Of Love by Patti Smith springs to mind.
