Great album, their second best after "The Holy Bible".

Best tracks: "A Design for Life", "Everything Must Go", "No Surface All Feeling", "Small Black Flowers That Grow in the Sky", "Interiors".

I'm a much bigger fan of the Holy Bible. For me the Manic's biggest virtue were Richey Edward's lyrics which aren't as dominant. Still good album though.

Agreed... although I find it sad that Gold Against The Soul fails to get much of a mention anywhere.

Hey Very Happy Good stuff! I hope some of you near the top listened to the album because of this. To the people who are avoiding the Oasis, Blur, Pulp crowd, these lot are not part of that. As different as Radiohead are from those three (Although sounding much different from Radiohead).

Seriously, give this a go Razz
