People usually accept moderator decisions are in the best interests of the site, but there might be the odd occasion when you disagree and you need to know the correct process to follow.

At the moment, some people are discussing and arguing with moderator edits on the main board, which is making some threads go off-topic, and can look off-putting for anyone else reading the forum.

To help keep the forums more on topic, a new site rule has been added. Rule 7 basically says that if anyone has an issue with a moderator's edit, they should discuss this directly with a moderator via PM instead of in the relevant thread.

The new rule does not confer any extra powers on the people that look after the site, it's purely just for housekeeping to keep this type of discussion out of the forums.
