It's got most of Elton's best songs, but I never felt like it really worked as an album.

While Honky Chateau is by far my favorite Elton album, I enjoy them all. The guy knows how to write a song.

This album is better when Elton John goes upbeat and edgy. ...or maybe I'm just sick of 'Candle in the Wind'.
