A good, not great, album. Dance Yrself Clean is brilliant, but I think the rest of the tracks are more than a few steps behind. Too many songs sound either like The Strokes (All I Want) or Beck (Somebody's Calling Me.) There's no real emotional songs like Someone Great from Sound of Silver.

Nothing really creative or mind blowing on this, but some of these songs are really entertaining. Dance Yrself Clean and I can Change are my favourites.

My favorite post-punk album. #15 on my 2010's list.

I thought this was a bit of a mess. Very 'un-album' like. Drunk Girls & I Can Change are my fav's, but I always felt that this was just a whole bunch of ok songs slapped onto a disc. _________________ Doubles & Conch

This was my first exposure to LCD and I spent several listens not really knowing there was more to be heard. I still have quite an affinity for this even if I know that Sound of Silver is a stronger effort.

The best album of the decade so far, in my opinion. It's close between this and Sound of Silver for their best. I think the song writing is the best here on the album as a whole, but I don't think it's as dancable as their past records. "I Can Change" and "Dance Yourself Clean" are both great tracks.

best band of the century so far. It is hard to choose between this and Sound Of Silver but I decided on this because the songs just generally hit me more. Has anyone sat down and listened to the lyrics of "Home"? it's some really depressing shit. But of course the album has optimism in at least the first 3 tracks. "Somebody's Calling Me" is the only song I have gripes with and that's only because if I'm having a bad day that intentionally out of tune synth just drives me insane. But generally I think it's a near perfect album. Best swan song ever? possibly
