One of, if not the weakest, of all the U2 albums.

Greatly prefer:
Joshua Tree
Achtung Baby
Zooropa
Pop
War
Boy

....to this

I think this is an album with U2 created their own trademark - musically. October and War had too much to preach ... Pray

Not amazing, but I was glad this got me to listen to it again. I do like how this doesn't feel as front loaded as The Joshua Tree.

Even it is not the best U2 album but with this record they start to be known. And it is true that this album created U2 trademark

Prefer Boy, War, The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby to this, but overall it's not that bad. I'd say it's tied with Ratte and Hum for 5th best U2 album.
