Shut up. Emo is a great genre, blending post-hardcore time signature changes with great pop sensibilities. If Justin Bieber was real emo, he'd be one of the best pop artists around today.

Anyway, this almost means a lot to me. At the beginning of this year, I started to get back into my faith after backsliding for 4-5 years, and this was my soundtrack.

You see, being a Christian isn't like being Mr. Rogers. It's more like being Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. And no album personifies that experience more than this one.

#95 on my chart.

The first time I listened to it I wasn't very impressed and shelved it for a couple years. But recently I gave it another shot and it was much better than i remembered it. Sowing Season has become probably one of my 20 or 30 all time favorite songs. Pretty solid album.
