I've tried 'ignoring' certain users - what is it supposed to do?
I think it should hide all their posts from being visible to you, and vice versa (as well as PMs).

If it's supposed to be doing that, then it's not working for me. A lot of things aren't working for me on this site.. 🤔

ignoring a user hides their forum posts, and also any comments of theirs across the rest of the site.

I thought that was a feature used by democrats to ignore the debt and Middle East strife. 🫢

THIS IS NOT THE POLITICS FORUM. EVERY SINGLE THREAD SHOULD NOT BE TURNED INTO A POLITICAL ARGUMENT HERE, AS HARD AS THAT MAY BE. GO TO THE POLITICS FORUM IF YOU WANT TO MAKE COMMENTS LIKE THAT ONE.

Let's just keep this on topic... if there's anything more that needs to be discussed

Okay, so the issue is that it is not working for me.

I've just tested it by temporarily adding you to my ignore list. The functionality seemed to work as intended - I could not see what you had written in any of your comments across the site. Instead of your text, there was a comment to say I was ignoring you. What is the problem that you are seeing?

I can still see the entirety of their posts.

The only situation where ignore won't work is if the other user is a moderator or myself (this is in the interests of looking after the site and ensuring their communications are always seen).
