This album is great but you can blame it for classic rock tripe.

A beautiful album. "Me and the Devil Blues" is one of my favorite songs and Johnsons guitar work here makes him of the best ever, even if he only has like 28 songs or whatever number it is. In a way the first lo-fi album, I guess also.

It's difficult to find anything to say about this record. It's one of the few records about which I could say something as drastic (and wrong and unfair) as "If you don't like this, you don't like music". "Hell Hound On My Trail" is my favourite, but all are hauntingly great.

Be prepared... It's influence is everywhere. This is a foundation album that stands up brilliantly on its own.
