When I was a dorky 18 year old into artsy crap space rock, I hated this album. Rush is such a horrible band, particularly during the science fiction years when Geddy Lee sounded like Donald Duck. Their 70's albums were terrible. This is probably the worst of them all.

How in the world did this get to #539 on the overall chart???????????????????????????

What's happening here? There are multiple people who are are saying some very harsh words! "hate", "loath" and "horrible" seem a lot stronger than disliking or being indifferent to an artist.

I don't see how Rush qualify for such vitarol. They are just Rush. They seem nice enough and certainly out of the way act. Their lyrics seem to be taken from novels and have this charm about them. They are often praised as great players but much more importantly, what they do works with their songs and I like what I hear. They're comfortable doing what they do would be a good thing to say.

Does extra resentment come from the fact they are so hugely represented here? I had never heard of Rush before I got a CD by them. I just picked up a greatest hits at ASDA one day because it was £3 and I wondered what a band called "Rush" sounded like. I had heard of Aerosmith and Kiss though. Those two might have sold more than Rush or at the very least be in the same sales league. Im not going to look but I'll guess Rush have more points on this website than both of those combined.

Actually ... now that I think about it. Some people in the Rush fan group are a bit... overtly surportive...
