Recently, my music interests have been slowing down, and the slow and beautiful records are currently favored over the wilder ones. I've become more fond of Tim Buckley than ever before, as his tender voice instantly relaxes me.

Which albums/artists/songs/whatever are your favorites when you just need to slow down?

A favourite for me is Poeta by Vicente Amigo, or Concierto de Aranjuez played by Paco de Lucia. Both are Spanish guitar based, but more classical than flamenco. I also listen to a lot of new age, and I quite like 'celtic' music as well like Enya, and ambient stuff like Orb, Deep Forest, Air and so on. Oh, almost forgot Nick Drake... mmm, and Simon & Garfunkel!

Come to think of it, most of what I listen to is pretty down tempo. Mr. Green

Four Tet is great,
Beach House is lovely
But sounds like you want some ambient stuff, so Gas might be your best bet. Look up Gas "Pop" astonishing.
