Good, but there are plenty of bands with a similar sound or style that I think are better.

Top notch album, though I personally prefer Good News For People Who Love Bad News

I actually rank it last out of all their albums. That's partly because I think all their output is quality and mostly because I never connected to it.

Heard it for the first time the other day. Not really my cup of tea, but it was pretty good. _________________

YESSSS!!! Love this album as many of you know. It's really a seamless blend of various elements of folk and indie rock and psychedelic etc into this great sound that is all Modest Mouse' own! I really dig it. The apache parts and songs are great like The cold part, perfect disguise. And the rockers are badass! The yelling distorted vocal of Tiny Cities is brilliant! Also the lyrics are strange and philosophical and are just always interesting.
"Gravity Rides Everything" is one of the greatest songs of the decade in my opinion.
Adore this album! _________________ -Ryan

My personal favorite by Modest Mouse just slightly edging out Lonesome Crowded West. People have turned on Modest Mouse since Float On made them a commercial success, but they're undoubtedly one of the best bands to come out of the late 90s. Brock was apparently doing a ton of acid when writing Moon & Antarctica, and it shows in his bizarre lyrics.
