I haven't properly listened to Devo yet, but I don't see how they could be more boring than Bloc Party.

For all of you calling Devo boring, I recommend checking out Hardcore Volume One. It's a compilation of their early recordings. it's far more raw and interesting than any of their studio releases. I really don't think any of their studio albums are anywhere near as wonderful as this.

Devo. Not a huge fan, but I do enjoy their early stuff. I have a love/hate relationship with Silent Alarm, and in fairness they are definitely more identifiable with post-punk or new wave than some of the other more recent artists nominated for this tournament (or even one of my nominations *cough* Prince *cough*), but I feel Devo deserve it more.
