It's mimd-boggling how much it's saturated my city and seemingly every U.S. and Australian city based off my friends on Facebook. It's crazy. I know it's probably all over. But in a few days the fact that I can't go anywhere further than a quarter mile and not see at least half a dozen people clearly playing this game is INSANE TO ME! I've never seen something take over the young people and culture so quickly. It's been out for like less than a week, right?
A location-based augmented reality Pokemon game is like exactly what people have wanted, and aside from the servers constantly crashing (though its gotten better), this game is getting people to walk around outside, explore, meet new people, it's fantastic. _________________ Progressive Rock
Hmm, I'm still on the fence about whether I should jump into this right now. I love the concept, and I already do a lot of walking, but these next few weeks are going to be pretty crazy for me, and I really don't need any more things to distract me before finals (I also forgot my Google password). Of course, the adventure of Pokemon Go may be over by the time I'm done with finals, so it's hard to decide.
Been loving this. Honestly I was in a not great place where the 3 days a week I work I felt great but the other 4 I did nothing and just felt bad all day. I've been walking more with this, doing 20k+ steps a day usually, getting outside, running into and interacting with strangers, I just feel way better. _________________
