Just off my chart, but obviously still fantastic. Just a little to inconsistent for me. There are some magnificent songs on here, though.

One of the greatest damn albums of all time. My favorite from the 60s. Honestly don't listen to it as often anymore, but that's just because it's basically part of my DNA now so I just have to think about the album and it's almost like listening to it. It has the perfect opening and closing tracks. The Crystal Ship is one of my favorite Doors songs ever. It's like a drunk man's psychedelia. Nothing quite like it.

One of the greatest debuts of all time. Hard to believe they even topped it on their second album.

Yeah, I said it.

I'm not at all a Morrison enthusiast or whatever. I don't even like The Doors very much. But frankly, this LP is irresistible.

It's funny... Morrison kinda bugs me. Don't know why... But I still really appreciate this album.

Me too. He comes across as rather obnoxious at times. Good album though.

I'm pretty much a Doors fan and I think this is their peak. It's not ready to leave my top 5 yet. And if this record didn't existed, well Strange Days would be in my top 10 anyway.

This is a very likeable record and most of the songs are terrific, but I'm often bothered by Twentieth Century Fox, I Looked At You and Take It As It Comes. They aren't horrible but they don't get to the level of the rest of the album.
