Really enjoy Prince. Great artist. This album is my favorite by him actually. it even has his best song (When doves cry).

I really like this album. So far I've only listened to it and Parade by Prince, but out of these two, it's my favorite.

 Got a nice laugh out of this comment! Today has actually been a pretty cheerful day! Been having a really nice time. A bit too hot though.
- Just as a side note, I don't say things to be controversial. Most of what I say is the exact opposite of that.

I haven't listened to it but that album cover and those song titles aren't really motivating me much either, ha.

I like Purple Rain and When Doves Cry, but as with every Prince album, it's a big BLEH. I only like the odd Prince song, obviously.

I'm not sure there's a Prince album I downright love, though I need some serious relistening. I still think he's amazing for some reason. I've seen him live twice, and those might just be my two best shows ever

the 1st cassette i purchased. the 1st cassette i bought on cd. the 1st cd i ripped to mp3. i'm sure glad i had good taste with my 1st (cassette) purchase, because i might feel silly championing ratt's "round and round" (my 2nd purchase) all these years...

I still think that 1999 is Prince's best album overall. But Purple Rain comes a close 2nd. And it was the one that made him a superstar.
