1999 may be my favorite Prince album, but Purple Rain was the album that made me a Prince fan.

When Doves Cry was the first Prince song I heard
And it's still my favourite track by him

the prince story really fascinates me.
just by looking at him (judging a book by its cover), i didn't think i would enjoy his music.
truthfully, i don't enjoy a lot of his music. but this album is spectacular.
its actually addictive - its that good.
this guy surprises me in so many ways - he is an amazing guitar player.
and he has incredible vocals. he is unique in his dancing (which i dont care for) but it exhibits his versatility.
his musical range is so wide.
he is so talented,
this is a 10/10.
i only wished that he produced more music, with the same guitar intensity, as he did on this album.
