Haha, "Sad but True" was actually playing in Subway today.
Anyway, the album's alright. I mean, it's fun listening and really nothing more. I'm not really in the Metallica-sold-out camp, but this particular direction of their music doesn't really interest me. Still, a huge step up from its predecessor.

One of the greatest American hard rock albums of all time.

Over-rated because it kind of started a trend in heavier rock music, but was the trend really worthwhile..?

But seriously Metallica is one of the most boring metal bands to exist (and that includes their previous work) and the fact that they are often heralded as the best is.. well comical.
