I enjoy both, but Billy Joel's debut is really not even close to his best work. I'm going with Kill 'Em All for this one.

Oh sweet! Before we reopened nominations Kill 'Em All was set to go against The Doors. I was gonna have to vote against my own nomination! Anyway, I enjoyed this Billy Joel album quite a bit, but come on, Kill 'Em All is a thrash masterpiece. As raw and angry as Metallica ever were. Easy vote.

Cold Spring Harbor is easily Billy Joel's best album featuring my favourite male vocal performance of any singer ever. It 's pretty different from his later, more famous work, much more... intimate.
