Jagged Little Pill is still Alanis standout record despite her playing around with a lot of venues since. Even if you don't care much for Alanis you can see the impact it's success had on the alternative singer-songwriter scene and market.

Alanis dominated the radio at a time when I was just getting into modern rock, so I have a certain sentimental reaction when I hear this album. It's not a classic and "Ironic" really annoys me, but I still appreciate it as a great pop album.
