There are always some albums that remind you of a special time...it is a really special feeling.

What album is the most "nostalgic" one for you and why ?

Styx Paradise was the favorite album of one of my best friends in college. So he played it a lot. Now when I hear it I am teleported back to 1990.

Most anything of Michael Jackson pre-Invincible, and especially the stuff he recorded while still a kid. I was a huge MJ fan when I was a boy/teenager, so it brings back memories. Except most of "Thriller", maybe, as I've heard it a lot as an adult.

It would be impossible for me to choose just one. As someone who has dealt with depression for most of his life, I have over the years found comfort in a whole slew of albums, and each one has a shitload of nostalgic value for me. Here are a few of them:

Moon Safari by Air
Doolittle by Pixies
Pinkerton by Weezer
Abbey Road by The Beatles
Superunknown by Soundgarden
Nightfall in Middle-Earth by Blind Guardian

A toss up between the first album I truely sat down and listened to (whilst drawing epic tie-fighter, x-wing battles)...

Revolver by The Beatles

and one of the first albums I purchased and played to death (literally until the tape snapped)...

Complete Madness by Madness
