This book is on Amazon... search for it, as I can't yet post links. It would be a nice addition to your charts and meets your criteria.

The only thing with that list is that they aren't ranked. Without ranking scores, I don't really see how much this list would add in terms of determining rank scores which are based on chart position.

agree with joannajewsom, no way of assigning points if none of the list is ranked. Time's list was rejected for the same reason.

Yeah, somehow I feel that lists are much better when they're ordered in rank by some criterias. That's why it kinda bothers me to know that Classic Rock Magazine's "50 Albums that Built Prog Rock" was also unordered, too.

Actually. I wouldn't mind adding this. ๐Ÿ˜•

I'll do it myself if you don't have the time...

The albums don't have to be given a score, they could just be neutral (like charts past 10 years, etc...)

Just go in the order that they have it in the book ๐Ÿ˜„ (via year, i think?)

I have a "1001", the 2005 edition. I have added to my writings. I have also listed the artists and bands whose albums do not have the book. "1001", I think is sustainable, however, to read. I donยดt need rankings list.

It's a wonderful book ๐Ÿ˜ They have a even newer edition now. No Journal For Plague Lovers in 2009 though which was a disappointment. Around 2009 and 2010 most of the choices were the higher placing ones from here. Only real surprise was Queen Of Denmark being included and this other one I never heard of. Everything else may have been in the top 20 for their year.
