When I was 16 I was in my first car, a Nissan Sentry, when it was engulfed in flames and was completely destroyed in a matter of minutes. Never could figure out the cause was, since by the time the fire department showed up it was nothing more than a few steel beams. But as I stood by and watched it burning, I could hear Simon and Garfunkel's Bleeker Street still blasting from the speakers, and it seemed quite appropriate.
