Am I the only one who disagrees with The Beach Boys? Think they've made many fantastic albums, and the ones that aren't great from start to finish have way more going on than just the singles!

I think the key here is "Prefer."
Another band like this for me is CCR. They have great studio albums, but nothing can beat their Chronicle, Vol. 1 greatest hits release.

Yes, you're right. But I still disagree with other in that I prefer their studio albums compared to compilations.

Most southern soul artists, except Otis and Isaac Hayes. Get a Stax compilation, they're awesome.
