Scaruffi has certainly elevated the status of certain albums, and there are some tools who follow him blindly, but Twin Infinitives does have some merit. I wouldn't say it's their worst - their self-titled debut I find less interesting and creative, more clattering and botched experimental.

Either way, the fact that Twin Infinitives is in the top 1000, while nobody besides me has put any of their other work in a BEA chart is sad. Their later stuff is quite good.

The debut and Infinitives both are awesome IMO.

Taken By Force - Scorpions

Everyone remembers the Scorpions for their 80s hits and songs like Rock You Like a Hurricane, but their 70s stuff is much better imo. Uli Jon Roth is one of the most underrated guitarists and was one of the original shredders.

Scott Walker - The Drift

I second this. A disturbing and eerie masterpiece from one of the most notable singer-songwriters in modern music.
