Usually I listen to about 1-2 per day but lately I've been listening to about 5-6 per day. I've been listening to albums with a voracious appetite. Not always different albums though. Sometimes I'll listen to an album about 3 times in one week to really get to know it. _________________
It changes a lot. Yesterday I heard 4 new albums. But it's a lot compared to my usual standard. I don't think I can come up with a specific number. I often have to swallow the album and listen to it constantly in a week. _________________ One thing I can tell you is you've got to be free
When this thread started my process was listening to a couple songs on youtube, buying the cd on amazon, and waiting for it to come in to listen. So i'd only listen to a handful of new albums per month. But I recently subscribed to rdio in my quest to listen to way more new albums in 2013 than I did in 2012. I've been listening to about 3 new albums (to me) per day, mostly 2010-2013 and mixing in some older stuff. For only 5 bucks a month I think it's well worth it.
Not as many as I'd like. Now that I'm getting to the point where the amount of music I've heard is approaching one shit ton, it's getting harder and harder to find new music that I genuinely like. Which really bums me out :/
