Cage the Elephant was the worst performance I have heard...
Only thing to second that was PJ Harvey in 2001... I don't think it was her fault, but the sound engineer.

Not because of the band, but worst experience at a concert was standing in vomit the whole show...
Hail to the Thief tour for Radiohead at Hollywood Bowl, 2003

Ha ha, I had a similar experience at Oasis in 2005, only not vomit, got hit by a flying cup of piss and it was dripping off my nose. I smelt like sugar puffs for the rest of the gig.

For years it was Alice Cooper. The Alice Cooper Show featured a giant TV screen that the band was hidden behind. Cheesy video effects, people dressed as spiders and most of the songs being from a crappy album made it really bad. That, and he told the audience 2 songs in that it was the last stop on the tour and they were tired, so "sorry if we suck". They did.
This was replced a couple of years back by My Morning Jacket at the Ogden Theater in Denver. Jim Jones hs a good voice...why they insist on burying it in echo and other effects is beyond me. The sound at this show was so bad I had to walk out halfway through...it was so bad I couldn't even tell what songs they were playing. The first time I've ever walked out on a show. Absolutely terrible. _________________ May we all get to heaven
