"Black People" in the list means a band called that, or any music made by black people?

Also Elton John is so gay, he's on it twice.

I'm not Christian, but I think the biblical elements in Sufjan Steven's music makes it more enjoyable.

Haha sorry man I knew you'd hate me for posting that but I couldn't resist. I'm actually a bit gutted it's not real, it's not as funny now.

I guess I'll this thread with an anecdote.
I grew up in a very conservative, Protestant Christian home. As a result, any music that was not Christian was considered worldly and sinful. That is why I didn't really discover my love for music, particularly heavy metal and rock n roll at that time, until right around 7th grade. Since then I've found that religion had held me back from what has become my greatest musical passion. It is also the reason why I have to limit myself to digital copies of my music rather than having physical copies. I've had to hide music from my close-minded dad and it has just been easier to hide files and an ipod from him rather than a collection of CD's/vinyl/what-have-you

I grew up in a supposedly protestant home (CofE) but my parents were never too serious about it. I mean I was christened and we went to church every few weeks but I didn't get any of the dogma at home.

My dad's into classic dad rock, so ACDC, Led Zep, Stones etc. He didn't care what I listened to at all even though he didn't like all of it. I mean I've given up trying to make him appreciate rap, but he never minded me listening to it, just not when he was in the same room. Life would have sucked if I wasn't able to listen to whatever I wanted when I was younger.

I guess it would have been, but I wasn't really exposed to any kind of music so it wasn't a problem for me. You know what does kill me now though? When I was in elementary school Slash came to play at our 5th Grade Talent Show and I didn't go because I didn't know who he was an wasn't interested in going... I cry about it to this day.

I missed a chance to get Ozzy's autograph...

There was something about "securing your place in line" and I knew that at that time I first heard about it, I would be standing in that line for TWO HOURS if I went there. So I didn't do it.
