For anybody who enjoyed this, Burst Apart is almost as good as this. It's not a concept album, but a bunch of poppier stand-alone songs, but it's awesome in a completely different way. Terribly depressing in a beautiful way, too.
The two albums go together so well also. While Hospice is the whole idea of going through something traumatic like the whole cancer patient thing or the emotionally abusive relationship subtext, Burst Apart feels like the recovery from something traumatic. Burst Apart is easily my favorite record of the 10's so far.
