I tried this album when I was first getting into hip-hop, and can't say I totally got it. I never disliked it, but since my education with hip-hop had started with Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul and shit like that it just sounded so completely foreign to me. Now I know that if I listen to it I'll probably fucking dig it, but still haven't taken the time to do so. I really should do that soon.
