Some great punk, post-punk, hardcore, and post-hardcore. Punk can be kind of hard to pin down, as some artists who I would consider pretty punk (Neil Young mainly) aren't really punk.

On my list, I just through every thing together that was in some way related to punk that I liked. So basically, if punk was in the title of the genre, I considered it punk. Not the best way to determine things, but hey, what can you do
Has anyone run across Fall Out Boy and the like yet? They're still great despite half of the new album not catching me.
Then again, the last album sounds nothing like the first ones. It's more U2/ Echo and The Bunnymen sound instead of The Clash/Sex Pistols they began nearer.

Punk and post-punk are strongly linked. I agree that most Joy Division tracks clearly belong to the latter, but you can see punk is nearly everyone of them. I think JD share their sense of urgency and oppressiveness with many punk bands. You know, it's like if I listed James Brown in a soul music list, and you were like "he's not soul, he's funk". True, but both genres share strong influences and it's really difficult to separate them like that. This is even truer with Joy Division. Have you listened to their early recordings and singles? Like the ones featured in the Substance compilation. It's punk music. They did make a transition, but it doesn't shock me to see them listed along with punk albums.
