I used to have this attitude towards it (that the rock and rool hall of fame does not matter at all nowadays), but, either way, it's just fun to pick and choose. Something to do.

it never mattered. honoring fame is superfluous.

Personally, I think I'd be okay if only Nirvana got in from this list, though it would be nice to see The Replacements and The Meters get in, too.
