i'm pretty apathetic with regard to muse, but a fun trick i heard of once was to pretend they're intentionally being excessively hammy (a la that certain glam band they're so regularly told they're indebted to) and that makes the music listenable, if only because groans are replaced by laughs.

Y'all be crazy
This is my absolute favorite Muse album hands down (with Black Holes And Revelations in a close second). It is absolutely fantastic. There is no bad song. I Belong To You is gorgeous, and the little suite at the end is awesome, along with The Resistance (which is like, probably in my top 5 Muse songs) and Uprising, I love it.
This album is dope yo.

Muse was a good band up until this album came out. This and 2nd Law are awful. This one at least has a few good tracks, but overall it's pretty weak. Hopefully they break up soon or something because with the direction they're heading there's no telling how bad it can get.

Not understanding the hate. I loved this album, it's #45 in my 100. I haven't heard Muse's entire discography, but I've heard a couple and it's certainly stronger than Absolution.
