I wish I liked The Flaming Lips more than I do. There's something about this album that means I just can't enjoy it as much as it seems other people do. Still, some fantastic songs here, particularly dig Spoonful Weighs a Tonne, and I love how the album doesn't take itself too seriously, but is always just a bit of fun.

Excellent album and quite complex - have to admit that it deserves far more listenings... _________________ "And can’t you see you’re in on it?

Well, it's in my top 20, so that basically tells you all you need to know about it. These guys are one of the few things that makes me proud to live in Oklahoma.
Thought tbh I'm not sure why anyone would listen to this tracklist. 5.1 is the only way to go for me.

Pretty great. I rarely listen to the first half anymore though. Not crazy about the production, it's pretty ugly-sounding a lot of the time tbh. But yeah the last five tracks are beautiful.

Interesting thought...
Anyways, even during my Flaming Lips stage this album never got a large amount of listens. Embryonic was my favourite, Yoshimi second. I think the remix tracks put me off this album a bit. Deserves a relisten, most of their albums do, really.

I still find myself coming back to this time and again. Definitely one of my favorite albums, as evidenced by its presence on my chart. A better description is to come when I get down to making comments for that part of the list.
