Just realized, never posted my feedback. Absolutely brilliant album. I actually enjoyed this as much as (if not more than) most of sigur ros. I'd probably rank it below () and just slightly below Agaes Byrjun and well above Takk....
Great pick Mecca. Thanks for giving this some exposure. (still don't get how this slipped by so many people...)

Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

Finally got around to listening to this.

Solid album, enjoyable to listen to overall. Musically it's pretty good and lyrically it's alright (the first song is a little rough). It took me a little while to get over his voice, but in the end I thought the music complimented his voice pretty well.

Really liked this one, truly reminds a bit of Sigur Ros, which is a great thing, loved the vocals, and really smooth, relaxing music. Might be a grower, it'll surely get more listens.

I get why the Sigur Ros mentions, from the Jonsi appearance, to the style of vocals, and in some cases the production, but tbh the songwriting approach is quite a bit different, more "poppy" in a way I guess, so I can't really compare it to anything Sigur Ros have made so far. I also don't think it's as good as anything by them, and I hate that I can't give a proper opinion on why that is so, because it really goes only as far as me disliking the vocals. I just think they're annoying, and it probably got worse on another listen.

A nice album to whittle away my Sunday. As I write school reports and mark student work, this put me in a better mood.
