I remembering hearing this on vinyl and it all suddenly seemed to make sense. There aren't really any standout tracks here, but the whole thing gels so irresistibly, especially when the album takes a turn for a darker sound. I still prefer Ziggy Stardust though, that album has too much magic to say otherwise.

Of his Berlin trilogy I prefer Heroes. This is still solid though.

I still remember how Warszawa gave me goosebumps the first time I listened to it, I also love Art Decade, as well as Always Crashing in the Same Car and Be My Wife.

Overall, a great album, though it should always be remembered that this is more "David Bowie and Brian Eno" than "David Bowie".

Can't believe I missed this as album of the day, right in the thick of my Bowie obsession! Stunningly, this is only my 4th favorite from him - Heroes, Aladdin Sane and Station to Station all rank higher in my book. Scary Monsters is right about even with this.

Definitely one of his most interesting albums. Each side has an amazing and unique sound. Tracks like "Speed of Life" and "Sound and Vision" are among my favorite songs, and the album is as cohesive as anything Bowie's done.

Overall i think it's an ok album. For me there are no stand out tracks, still i can see the people say the album works better as a whole. Its the best of the berlin trilogy, but i rather listen to 60's Bowie
