Oh oh oh oh magic! I'm sorry I can't post three paragraphs trying to pick apart why I love this, but it really is great. It sounds so beautiful. Some sort of peace found in chaos, like staring out a window into a thunderstorm. I just fucking love it. Perfect reflective music while still having an urgency to it. I wish I remembered exactly what my comment on it on my old chart was, because I thought it described it well, but never mind that. Just listen and love.

Treny is better, Jacaszek is more concerned with the content rather than the aesthetic of it. Glimmer is still damn good though, if I was an artist this would be the perfect music to listen to while painting.

It was something about perfect music for car rides at night while it was raining. Staring out the window and listening to Glimmer, or maybe that was describing the sound of it.

I actually kind of remember it fairly well, it's just that I wouldn't get the words exactly the same as last time and that would bother me. XD As for Treny, it is a great album, a favourite, though it doesn't touch Glimmer for me.
I felt like Treny felt more choppy whereas Glimmer fits together better. Treny feels put together with legos whereas Glimmer feels like one big piece...just flowing, just blowing, like wind, time, and so on. Treny made me think of manmade structures from ages past, now nothing but ruins, whereas Glimmer is the ceaseless ebb and flow of nature, the wind, the tides, the storms...I love both but Glimmer is something I love even more, and part of that may be simply because I listened to it first.
