I don't know if this has been said, but listening to Kozelek on early Red House Painters, and THEN Benji is quite jarring.

Love love this album, the whole thing is great, but Medicine Bottle in particular is one of my all time favorite songs.

As has been said before, Medicine Bottle is probably one of the best songs of all time. The album as a whole is a masterpiece, with its only flaw being that it doesn't also have Katy Song on it Razz

One of those albums I love so much that I'm not entirely sure how to put it in to words. Many a late, lonely night was spent with Down Colorful Hill.
