haha been to a couple dubsteps concerts myself, very interesting,
but i'm surprised there's not much following of a techno, house, trance, progressive, and all of the rest of the genres on here. I'm not much into these kinds of music though, taking it slowly.

I've been listening to this mix a lot in the last week:

Really nice 'future-garage' type stuff. Well worth a listen.

got the Night Slugs All Stars comp and am pleased, thanks for the suggestion Nezzle...
and thanks for all the suggestions from everyone else as well...

so far I've got:
Burial- Untrue
Kode 9- Memories of the Future
Skream- Skream!
Pinch- Underwater Dancehall
Tectonic Plates comp.
Night Slugs All-Stars comp.

I enjoy Untrue and Memories of the Future most... keep the suggestions coming (the more people repeat suggestions, the more I'm likely to pay attention to the album)... all I plan on exploring this break is 80s and dub-step

Just got Kode9 and the Spaceape's Black Sun and have been enjoying it. It's true that it's not as 'anxious' (to quote Pitchfork) as Memories of the Future or Burial, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I like it better because it's using drums other than snares to create their beats

Well, if you liked Burial's Untrue, why not have a go at his first album, Burial ? Pretty good. His last EP, "Street Halo" is not bad either, the title song seems to point at a search for more dancefloor efficiency somehow.

Chord by Lukid is the album you are looking for, sensational piece of work from the underground scene.

sorry I haven't updated my list of dubstep for awhile, but I've already got Burial debut and enjoy it too. I'll have to check out Lukid. I've got to say though, after listening to Black Sun several times throughout the day, I think it's the second best from the genre after Untrue (that I've heard at least)
