I'd disagree that it's a bad album.... it's just so purely average. Like none of it is bad but nothing about it is good. Your favourite song on this album tends to be the song you hear first because they all sound exactly the same.

It has its moments, it's not great, it's not awful.

It seems that this is either overrated or overhated

I'll go at a 74/100 on this.

It's one of the few albums where I do feel it's a "bad" record, same with Papa Roach/Puddle of Mudd/Limp Bizkit's material. There are few albums I hate like this.

I loved the singles from Hybrid Theory back in the day.

I still have a bit of a soft spot for this one and its remix Reanimation.

In The End is in my opinion a pretty perfect pop song.

An overall decent album. There's filler tracks no doubt, but the good ones outnumber them. Meteora is a little bit better. And Papercut is simply amazing, the finest example of their 'hybrid experiment.' For all the crap they made post-Meteora, this song helps me forgive them.

I guess I should give it its chance, someday. Not today though. Not tomorrow either. And probably not next year.
