What a good album, featuring two of their most memorable songs...Shout and Everybody Wants to Rule the World. Mother's Talk, Broken, and The Working Hour are other good ones. As much as I like this one, I prefer The Hurting, but I'm not complaining this one is higher on the BEA chart. _________________ on such a winter's day

Just got this last week. Very, very pleased with this album. I always knew the hits, but everything else is great as well. _________________ May we all get to heaven

I. LOVE. THIS. ALBUM.
Tears For Fears can do no wrong in my eyes (and I'm referring to the albums with Curt Smith, not those Roland Orzabel solo efforts that were released under the Tears For Fears name).
Music like I've never heard before or since, they have a knack for catchy hooks, thick layers of music and great songwriting, and this is Tears For Fears in top form. Good luck NOT getting "Head Over Heels" stuck in your head. Literally not a bad track on this album anywhere, I can't even count the number of times I've listened to this album.
If you dig this, check out their other two albums, "The Seeds Of Love" and "The Hurting", fantastic music. _________________ 2023 Chart

"Head over Heels" is one of my favorite pop songs of the 80s!
"Shout" is killer as well - simply awesome atmospherics. Pretty much dig everything on this album with the exception of "Everybody wants to Rule the World" - a tad too cheesy for me & radio overkill didn't help it's cause any. But a wonderful album. I personally like The Hurting a bit better due to its darker & more intimate feel, but this is great too.
