Agreed. This is my favourite R.E.M. album, never understood why it often ranks so low. It's back-to-roots rock with the benefit of them being much more mature song writers than before, the songs are some of the most interesting R.E.M. put out during the Berry period. It combines the sounds of Automatic and Monster into something that has the punch and politics of Monster, but the reflective themes of Automatic. Love it to death.

This album is jam-packed full of gems.. It deserves to be in REM's top five for sure.. It was my first REM album and still is my favorite. I used to be able to play all the guitar solos Mr. Green

One of their weakest, bottom 5 maybe. Very ordinary for R.E.M.

I'll take Chronic Town or Murmur over basically any of R.E.M.'s 90's output, but of that output this is probably my fave. Solid record
