Hmmm. Doesn't really do it for me like most of her earlier work.

A good album, probably my third favorite from her behind Court & Spark and The Hissing of Summer Lawns. I like the jazz influences and "Song for Sharon" is probably my favorite song here.

Fantastic. Some of her most elegantly personal lyrics and, as was the case for most of her 70s output, the jazz flavoring is integrated flawlessly. "Amelia" is just beautiful

I prefer Mitchell's earlier work but this definitely has an interesting atmosphere to it. Perhaps I shall grow to like it.
