I think that many of you guys already know Fabrizio De Andrè, Battisti or Mina so I'd love to share with you this album that is filled with heart and soul:
This is one of the many reasons why James Otto is my most favorite singer. To me, soul is what you hear when James sings because his heart is what the precious beautiful sweet hearted teddy bear sings with, I love him so much!!!
God bless you and James always!!!

P.S. Hey, you asked and I answered. _________________ Me & my favorite singer James Otto
The OP talks about heart and soul as though they're two different qualities. Are there examples of songs that have one, but not the other? Like is that one killers song "I've Got Soul But I'm Not A Soldier" an example of something with soul because he does the thing with his voice, but no heart because the actual words being said don't actually mean anything?
It's likely everything on the top 1000 albums, if sung, is sung with Heart and Soul I can not think who might or might not be. If someone is making music and sticks at long enough to get an album heard by millions of people it is more than likely they are doing what they love. They're not going to find themselves put in the position to sing to millions like someone may find themselves in a dead end job.
Saying the above though, the fire may die in some music artists after more than a decade at resulting in albums with less passion than their debuts Could get messy though
