Rah, love 1980, but the 1970 team is still stronger imo. Rocky grabs a point. _________________ I'll be your plastic toy.

After the Gold Rush and Curtis are both chart worthy or close, and Paranoid is of course great too. Never could stand Bridge Over Troubled Water but Lola makes up for that. On the other hand, Los Angeles is one of my favorite punk albums and that Wipers album turned out to be pretty good, but I've never been a fan of Springsteen or Waits (although The River was better than I expected). Gotta give it to 1970, it's got some huge albums and more variety than the more punk-based 1980 _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.

Voted 1970, that album lineup is crazy, and the singles are the icing on the cake. The 1980 team if great though, every team so far in this tournament is incredibly solid.

Album for album, the 1980 set is better. The River > Paranoid. Los Angeles > Curtis, The Cramps album > The Neil Young album, and so on. Now the 1970 singles are better than the 1980 ones, but I'm weighting the match in favor of the albums. Given 3 or 4 hours of music per year, I enjoyed the 1980 set more than the 1970 set.
Vote to Team The River.

It was pretty close, but 1980's stellar single selection puts it over for me. 1980 it is.

That's it? No clever remarks?
Is this real? No. No it isn't.
The River runs dry in Los Angeles!
The Songs the Lord taught us have stopped.
[choke-- Heart Attack]
That's just off the top of my head.

In Spanish, a word for clever is "listo". Can I call you Clevermeister?
