"Joni was found unconscious in her home this afternoon. She regained consciousness on the ambulance ride to an L.A. area hospital," the statement said.
The 71-year-old is awake and in "good spirits," according to the statement. "Light a candle and sing a song, let's all send good wishes her way."
Los Angeles fire officials earlier said paramedics answered an afternoon 911 call in Bel Air, where Mitchell lives, and took a patient to the hospital. |
