Just posting in case noone else has seen (the top 50 is at www.q4music.com.)

1) Definitely Maybe - Oasis
2) (What's the Story) Morning Glory? - Oasis
3) OK Computer - Radiohead
4) Revolver - Beatles
5) The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
6) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Beatles
7) London Calling - The Clash
8) Under the Iron Sea - Keane
9) Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
10) Urban Hymns - The Verve

Interesting chart posted by Q but very mainstream and no nuggets in there. Oasis and Keane in the top 10 ruins it for me.

Im sorry but that is one of the worst charts I have seen in my life. Oasis are ok, but they aren't even near to the top 100 of the british albums.
And Kean on number eight??? Jesus
If Oasis are a clone of an original band, Keane are clones of clones. They can't get more generic than that.

The other ones are ok for me.

Nos 11-50 are not that bad. There are also some choices I wouldn't include, but taking the fact that this list is created by the readers, it is pretty decent.

Did they make the list themselves or did their readers vote on it?

It's not terribly surprising then, or particularly interesting. It just epitomises the demographic of people voting on Q's poll

Back to my own listening...
