Definitely an essential part of their catalogue, but it does sag considerably in the middle. Without There There, the middle eight tracks would really be a struggle.
Aside from the big three of this album, I'm a huge fan of Sail to the Moon and Scatterbrain. Both are highly underrated imo and quite beautiful to be honest.
